What type of fantasy do you read?

The Wheel of Time books were good. I have read almost all of them, I tend not to stick to any one type of fantasy. If it has a good story and is not a boring non-fiction book, them I'm happy :-P :-D

September 2013: Qiu Xiaolong, Death of a Red Heroine

Hmm, I think the end doesn't , at any time justify the means. However much the bad guys deserve what is going to happen to them.

J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord Of The Rings

The music was ok, the best movie music, if I many call it that, that I have as yet heard, was the music in Hero. But that is changing the subject just a little bit :p :p back to LOTR, great books need to read them again sometime soon :-)

This is cool, the books were great and I am sure that if they have gotten the right Director, the series should be good.

Bond - The Films vs The Books

Yes in many ways they are, in how the characters behave and in what order things happen. A lot of scenes were left out throughout the movies that were based on the books.

Bond - The Films vs The Books

True, the stories in the movies are so different from the books you kind of have to view them as new/different stories.

    Books to film

Really? I thought that the book had quiet a few things in it that could have been better explained and one or two holes that needed to be filled in.

Bond - The Films vs The Books

You have to keep in mind when the Bond books were written when you read them. Once you do that you can start to enjoy the books themselves as fun action spy books. I think that you learn more about who James bond is and what makes him James bond in the books than in the movies.

I dose indeed, a look at Stardust a bad book (or at least I think so :-) ), but a good movie. How something in made it a great facter in the end result.

    Books to film

Yes a movie can be just as good or even better than the book. It is just unfortunate that such directors are far and few between.

Psy, YouTube & Iron Man actually unite countries - Entertainment becoming great ambassador

Very intresting. I have always thought that people are much more willing to learn about other peoples culture history ect if it is something that is fun and nice to do. Movies and music are, I think, a great way to bring people together.
