Oh, yes, you're right! I think it was in the first book that this was covered. It's not possible to apperate into or out of Hogwarts because of protections put on by the school to protect the students. I think I recall Hermionie quoting something along those lines in an exasperated tone to Ron...
My hazy recollection is that he didn't know that Pettigrew was there. It came as a big surprise to him that Pettigrew was even in the form of a rat, as I recall, let alone belonging to the Weasleys. If Sirius had known he would surely have notified McGonnagal or Dumbledore in regard to that...
Yep! Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic and Newfoundland. Interestingly I believe that's the same as the US when you include Alaska and Hawaii (Great White North, eh, indeed!)
I'm from the Eastern side of the country (sorry I don't get more specific than that :p ). I'm Australian...
Groovy! His name sounded familiar :). I don't have much of a brain on at the moment, but I want to keep the thread going, so here's a bit of an easy one, depending upon where you live.
How many time zones are there in Canada?
Ah, I see! I deal with South Africa in my work and just assumed because we use SA all the time. Oops!
Thanks! It was CDA's Secret Santa gift for me!! :D

I just can't stand the Wheel of Time series. Rand and his ranting and raving made me want to throw the book across the room by book 3. I think I own the first 8 books or so, as my father rather liked them. Personally, though, I just couldn't handle his temper tantrums any more. Maybe I'll pick...
Spammity spam spam spam, IMHO. A bit like that fella (chris_2005) over on the Isobelle Carmody thread and in one of the others who posted an authentic message and then left a link to an advertising site that he probably gets paid to get hits on. Are their IPs the same? I'm not normally the...
No, no! Apparently he is touring South Africa in April for the first time! I went and looked because my mother just told me in a letter that he's touring Australia again sometime next year, but I can't find any details... :( maybe the dates just haven't been released yet? Here's hoping!! :)
Woooooooooooooooooo!
My virtual gift arrived in my PM box today thanks to CDA!!! What is it? Check out my signature! It'll be up for the christmas period!
Yes, indeed it was a discussion that stemmed from a debate about 'elitism' and whether there was such a thing as 'bad' literature. Oh, Shade, how we sparred on that thread!! Oh, the good ol' days! :p
