Welcome! This is definitely a very busy book forum, often even about books! :) There are definitely peak times of the day for activity...and if you miss a day or two in checking, the number of new messages is almost overwhelming :)

Never been much of a tv-watcher myself...but I certainly doubt watching Discovery channel programs can be bad for you. The problem with tv is that it is addictive because of the way the lines cross (I'd go into more depth, but I don't have time this morning). I found when I stopped watching tv...
Agatha Christie....I find Poirot and Miss Marple so annoying that its hard to enjoy the mysteries. Additionally, while her mysteries are often ingenious, she isn't a very good storyteller. I much prefer the lesser well-known Dorothy L. Sayers.
You didn't even have to go for names to make it harder to read....they're bad enough as is. I wonder why the need to pick outrageous names....at least make it somewhat pronouncable.
Sirus didn't surprise me. He was close to Harry, but it was obvious he was taking too many risks.
I doubt that Voldemort would have anything personal against Hagrid, but Hagrid might get in his way. I also can see the death eater part....perhaps Lucius Malfoy.
Another possibility is...
I'd like to teach secondary students...those who are 14 to 18 or so. Its actually a lot more rewarding than it seems from the outside :)
And I'm quite a cynic, myself :)
Just because things are illegal doesn't stop people from doing lots of things: speeding, murdering, stealing, prostitution etc. That argument doesn't hold a lot of water for me. However, I do agree that the religious right definitely won't allow prostitution to be legalized for a long time to...
