    My Weekly Editorial

Here's the latest serving:) “Cherry eye”; if you’ve seen a dog with one you know what I’m talking about. This term describes a red, wet, shiny mass present in the corner of the eye that looks rather like, you guessed it, a cherry. A cherry eye can appear suddenly or grow over time. It can...

    Input?

Daniel All good advice here. I just wanted to add that you'll need an iron shell as you go through this process. Don't fear rejection just keep trying. Be sure of yourself and eventually someone else will "get it". I know nothing about publishing books but I know quite a bit about being a...

    Do kids need summer vacation?

The USA summer break is getting shorter. When I was a child we had 10 glorious weeks. Now they have like 6 or 7 I think. It may vary from state to state.

What is/are your most valuable book(s)?

I have a few first edition Richard Adams books; Watership Down, The Girl in The Swing, The Plauge Dogs, Shardik. I'm still looking for Maia and Traveller signed firsts. I also have a really cool, totally broke the back, signed leather bound edition of Watership Down with original signed...

    Do kids need summer vacation?

Do kids need summer vacation? YES! Come on they're kids and God knows childhood slips by so fast. I have such great memories of summercamp, swimming, camp songs, horseback, sleepovers. Can't replace that carefree time with more school. As adults were all so overworked and over regimented...

Hmmm... perhaps. I was thinking more about the circumstances of their lives, a couple of crappy husbands, sickly and hateful mother inlaw, ungrateful children, terrible job. Also it seems that there is, at least for these women, little room for growth and advancement in this highly regimented...

    Natsuo Kirino: Out

I hear what you and steffee are saying and I do agree that the changes were extreme, but felt they were justified in the story. My thinking is that they were already living on the edge of desperation, eekeing out a pretty miserable existance. Add to that misery the strain of the murder and...

xBasx There is an expression I'll share with you young grasshopper, "They don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care" If you aren't into the patients your best to become a surgeon and not a clinician.
