I have added some books a few times now to the Library but they do not appear. I know that it can take some weeks before they do appear, but I noticed other books going on but not the ones I have posted.
Any ideas why this could be happening?
HI All :)
I've got a small on-line fantasy book club and the members there tend to be quite lively with the discussions :D
I would though like to find more fantasy readers who like to gab about books to join us :) Especially as sometimes I or the other members come up with authors...
I found the first book pretty good :) It had a mature feel to it and I liked the characters and the world that seemed so similar but very different.
However the next two books disappointed me. I felt they lacked the originality of the first book and lost a lot of their spark.. The story...
Thanks for those tips :) I've read His Dark Material and found it a bit lacking.
However, I have heard good things about Garth Nix and Lian Hearn so will be trying those :D

I've been reading since I was young and turned into a bit of a book worm so I can't possibly say I how many author I have read.
But I generally read Fantasy books now so I can say how many different authors I have read in that genre :) - 65 different authors so far, and I started reading...
Has anyone else read this series? I've only read the first one and added a review in the library.
There are more books in this series which I would like to try, but wondered if anyone else had come across it too :D
I didnt think it was an aniticlimax to the ending, in fact it left me wanting to know more. I felt disappointed that the book had ended and do hope the author returns to these characters in the future :)
I found the first book in this series OK, a bit complex and difficult to keep track of each characters storyline. But generally quite interesting. When I started the 2nd book I found I couldnt cope anymore with the complex plot and stopped reading.
