William Shakespeare: Did he write his plays?

Women were allowed to write. They were not allowed to be actresses because it was thought that actors had very loose morals and actresses would become harlots. They were right on that, weren't they? :D

    Fish

I love fish and seafood. I've heard about the mercury, but I think it's only a problem if you eat big quantities of fish. It won't affect you for eating fish two or three times a week and you can always have freshwater fish, which is not affected by the mercury pollution.

    Self Promotion

This is just ridiculous. How often do we have the chance to discuss a book with the author? I only had that chance once and just because the playwright was one of my teachers. Now that we have that opportunity, sirmyk is not allowed to discuss it. So it's fine to discuss unpublished stories and...

One of my sisters used a hose pipe on my other sister's boyfriend (when he was coming to pick her up). He never made it to the front door. We never saw him again.

Not in a thread about bookmarks. They don't use them. They can remember exactly what page, paragraph and line they were when they stopped.

No, as Kenny said is mainly used as an antidepressant, but one of the side effects is impotency. The legend part is its use in the barracks.

What do you use as a bookmark?

Why anonymus? There's not shame on it. If it's boring, bin it (unless it's a library book)

It's not just a sedative. Urban legend has it that it was used in barracks (mixed in food or drinks) before soldiers went on leave to prevent soldiers from getting too excited as soon as they saw a female.

Free Children's Book Competition for TBF members only

You've got a cheek. You eat children for breakfast. My kids are too old for your book. I entered the competition before because I thought I could give the book to my youngest daughter's primary school, but now she is in secondary and I don't work with schools any more, so I really don't know. I...
