    When fiction meets non-fiction

I am in the midst of one of those rare occasions when the non-ficiton book I am reading echoes themes found in a recently completed novel. (Or perhaps, more accurately, the novel is the echo of the true tale.) The pair of books I am referring to are "Last Man Standing" by David Baldacci, and...

John Irving: The World According To Garp

I would like to read "A Prayer for Owen Meany." Perhaps we could make this the book of the month sometime. What do you think?

What do you do with a book you've read?

This would be perfect! I also keep all of the books I read, but unfortunately I do not have very many. About a year and a half ago, the apartment I was living in burned down, and I lost my entire book collection. I must say that I was quite devastated. I miss my books probably the most out...

    Has anybody read these?

Hi. I'm new to this site, and from my brief wanderings it seems that science fiction is the word around here. I have to admit, I haven't read much of the genre, (which doesn't mean that I never will :) ) but I'd like to share some of the great books that I have read lately...and I was wondering...
