    Has anyone read 'A Fine and Private Place.' It's Peter S Beagle's first novel, but don't let that put you off. It's better than 'Unicorn' and is in fact my favourite all time book. Peter S. Beagle, A Fine And Private Place

    I read it, and like you I wasn't sure to begin with. It's a story I'll never forget, the characters are very real as well as the setting. My son had seen the film and been so taken with it he bought the book.

    I must have blinked and missed the moment of active discussion on here. I check in every couple of days and rarely find anything. I live in hope though.
