    hardback or softback books? Which do you prefer?

    I like paperbacks more because they are cheaper, easier to carry around, and easier to hold while reading.

    What book should be REQUIRED reading for everyone?

    I had to read any Agatha Christie book I chose and either Brave New World or Pygmalion. I chose to read Pygmalion and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.

    I read The Other Boleyn Girl around the beginning of this year. I recall that I liked it, but found Anne's charcter slightly irritating. In my opinion, The Queen's Fool was better. Am now rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

    Classics that disappoint

    Maybe it was just the English teacher I had, but I hated The Great Gatsby. I might have liked it better if I had read it on my own and not for a class, though.

    I just started a list of the books I've read this year, but I've been an avid reader all my life, so I have no idea how many books I've read total.
