If I'm reading a book that I truly am enjoying it gives me sort of a eye. I can feel a little relaxed, a little happy and sometimes giddy. Then when the books ends I'm in search of another good book which I can not seem to find too often.
The Illusionist
I saw The Illusionist this evening and thought it was well done. I truly enjoyed it. Edward Nortons and Jessica Beil's accents were forgiveable because they gave great performances, and Rufus Sewell is always a treat - yummy - even with his wandering eye.

I'm not sure if this would be considered a recipe or not but I love to eat Wendy's (fastfood) Fries and Frosty together. I take the fries and dip and scoop them into the icecream. Yum. My friends turned up their noses until they tried it themselves.

I just finished Ahab's Wife by Sena J. Naslund and loved it except I thought it was a bit long. Towards the end I was...
The Ice Man back cover.
I haven't read the book but saw the HBO doc on The Ice Man and thought it was interesting to see into the mind of a killer-for-hire.

There were times at home when Richard would have one of his outbursts and break things and then lock himself in his...
Moonstone is next on my list. I read the intro to my copy of The Women in White (unabridged) and there is some belief that this story was loosely based on Collins' relationship with his two women. Evidently he was living as husband and wife, or wives, with two women, had children with them and...
I just finished reading The Women in White by WIlkie Collins and truly enjoyed it. The characters were well developed and the author kept my interest. I laughed, got sad, and even got mad throughout the read but that's what kept me going. The last part could have been made shorter but its a...
