Passing my driving test would certainly be a great help. :D
I failed for the 3rd time on Wednesday. :(
Mind you, I have no sense of direction so I'd have to follow bus routes to get anywhere.
I've read four of his books. I've still to read "The Fifth Woman". I noticed somewhere it didn't get that great a review but ...what the heck...each to their own! ;) :D
Just finished "Toll for the Brave" - Jack Higgins. Never read any of his stuff before. Loved it - plenty of twists, mind games and Martial Arts.
Watched "Monster" with Charlize Theron. Rather harrowing and one bit in particular made me squeamish. Good film, though! Also watched "Sense of Freedom" - Jimmy Boyle story. Oh, and "Cat in a Hat" which my son loves.
Unfortunately, I ran out of new books to read, so had to make do with borrowed ones. Read "Two sisters" - Nancy Livingston. Quite liked this one. Then "Tooth and Nail" - Ian Rankin. Never read any of his stuff before but I really enjoyed this. Then "Honest" - Ulrika Jonsson, an autobiography...
I love cream eggs! I like to dip it in my cup of coffee and shove the whole thing in my gob! Yum! :D

Hey,Garthbooks:)
I just started "In Cold Blood" earlier on this evening. Haven't got very far yet and I have to admit I haven't "got into it" yet. But I'll give it a go. (unless another book catches my eye!):D
Tell me, was George Clooney in the film "From Dusk 'til Dawn" or am I getting mixed up?
third man girl - I agree with you on Mohicans, DDLewis was stunning.
I loved Enid Blyton books as a child. Especially the Brer Rabbit books and the Faraway tree ones. And the Wishing Chair. I've still got a few lying about somewhere.
I'm looking forward to reading them with my son when he's older. At the moment we read Thomas the Tank Engine and Mr.Men books...
...a book I read years ago. The title is "H.A.W.L" I've no idea who the author is.
The gist of the story is of a man whose wife and daughter were killed in a bomb blast and the man goes on the hunt for the people responsible. He murders them and cuts the letters HAWL into their bodies.
