    Diane Setterfield: The Thirteenth Tale

    I too loved this book. The writing is beautifully lyrical and the story captivating. I loaned the book to my daughter, who has already selected it for her book club. Can't wait to get it back though. I will be reading this one again.

    do you keep track of the books you read?

    I jus found Bookedia (shareware, $18) for cataloguing my books. For the price it's an extremely neat program and is available for Mac and PC. I tried Readerware that another poster mentioned, but it was $40 and didn't work on my Mac.

    I so need to start keeping track. Three times in the past few years I've actually bought a book only to discover after getting home that I've already read it -- and worse, already own it.

    I never used to reread books, but as age catches up with me (short-term memory, what's that?) I'm finding a lot of pleasure in it. The first book I reread was The Stand -- it was so satisfying that I began to see lots of advantages. The best one is that when I can no longer afford to support...
