Well, my first 5 releases have never been "caught" as far as I know and I got a little discouraged. So I released some books to my friends. But that was not quite in the spirit of the site, either. I happened to find a cafe where others were releasing books and I released some of mine there...

Thanks so much for the link... it was fun to read impressions of BookCrossing. I was also a little hesitant to release books and I have to admit there are some I have registered and have no intention of ever releasing. Still, I have "gone hunting" to places listed on the site that had books...

I also read "The Shipping News" but it wasn't my favorite. A little dry, maybe. I just read some of the Stephanie Plum mysteries by Janet Evanovich. I never read mysteries but these were fun!
