    Personal freedom. What is it?

So true. There are many things that I wish I had the freedom to do, but without having a good job, that is impossible. I spend too much money, and now I am always getting into trouble. (Most of that money was spent on books too. lol) I told my boyfriend to just lock me up until this economic...

    The Official Book Censorship Thread

I went to a christian highschool, so the most "vulgar" book we probably were required to read was "Of Mice and Men." I know what it is like to be sheltered from certain aspects of life and I feel that parents need to take the journey with their kid. I remember the 1st vulgar book I got my hands...

    Reading Circles/Groups

I have always wanted to be apart of a book group, but it so happens that whenever I'm encouraged to read a certain book, I lose complete interest. It could be the most amazing book, but I can't read it. It must be a brain thing. lol. It really sucks when it comes to school stuff.

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

My friend and I decided to go see Confessions of a Shopaholic, so I decided to buy the book. Does anyone know if it is good?

    Last seen...

The last movie in theatre's I saw was Saw V. It was pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the whole blood and gore thing. I go because my boyfriend loves them! lol. I like the plot that runs through all of the movies though. At home.......I think it was MI:III. At least I'm pretty sure anyways. I...

    Twilight

I own all four of the Twilight series books. It really just depends on your taste in books. It is a teen book, and it is a pretty easy read. A lot of my friends are pretty adicted to the series.

    Stephenie Meyer: Breaking Dawn

I liked the beginning. Then, there was Jacob.......After she wrote the part from Jacob's view, her writing style completely changed. It was still interesting, but nothing compared to her past books. Most authors grow gradually through their writing, but you can always see that as their books...

    Stephenie Meyer: Midnight Sun

There was an article about it in the Wall Street Journal. They made a good point in saying, "When music stars have stuff leaked on the Internet, they don't junk the entire album." It happens to many stars, and I believe that she overreacted. When I first heard about her writing Midnight Sun last...

    Stephenie Meyer: New Moon

You know, I was thinking about it, and wouldn't it be kind of interesting if Jacob imprinted on Bella after she became a Vampire? That would make a good twist to the book, but it would just make things even more difficult for her.....

    Stephenie Meyer: New Moon

I have just finished reading the Twilight series a third time trying to refresh my memory in time for Breaking Dawn. I love all of the books in the series. The way that Stephenie Meyer describes Bella's feelings makes you feel like you are Bella. As for the questions, Sam and his game sound a...

    Teen books

I would strongly suggest "The Host". The first few chapters may be a little dry, but it really picks up. It is really interesting. I fell in love with all of the characters. It made me cry a few times too. :)

    Pet Peeves

I get really annoyed with clicking things...like pens. But, probably my biggest pet peave is moronic drivers. People who drive slow, don't know how to drive. It is really annoying. I wish that I could occasionally carry a gun with me and put it to use on certain days.

    movies basesd on Books ?

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer is going to be turned into a movie. That should be pretty good. The only problem is that one of the main characters isn't supposed to age, and it is taking them forever to make the movie, so I doubt that they will make movies for all of the books in the series. Most...

    Favourite reads, growing up?

OMG! I completely forgot that I used to read Goosebumps too! I think I had every single book that was written for that series! :D

    Favourite reads, growing up?

I was a huge Nancy Drew fan. My mom collected the entire series when she was a kid, and she passed them down to me. I also enjoyed Dr. Seuss, but who didn't? The Bernstein (sp?) Bears were pretty interesting. I liked the Disney books, all the ones that went along with the movies. There are a lot...

Happy April Fools Day - Ya Big Bunch o' Fools

So, I have realized that I really do love this holiday, but I really suck at pranks. I even had a very believable prank, but nobody believed that is was real. But, if anyone pulls a prank on me, I believe them, because I am completely gullible! It kinda stinks. :(

    Libraries vs book stores

I like to buy my books, so if it is a rainy day, and all I want to do is read a good book, I already have it in my home. I consider a library to be a place where I go for stuff with school, or if a friend has recommended a book, but I do not have enough money, then I would go to the library and...

Stephenie Meyer: Twilight & New Moon

The Twilight Series are some of my favorite books. I like her view on vampire's. I can not wait until Breaking Dawn is released. One thing that people need to realize is that she does write for young adults. Some of the romance will be simple due to the fact that it is for younger people. I...

    Southern Spooky Mysteries & Thrillers

The Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris are what you are looking for. They are very interesting and will keep you very entertained.

    Good book needed

Charlaine Harris is amazing! I have been reading her series and I normally can not put it down. A few other good ones are the Sherilynn Kenyon series and Lynsay Sands.
