Tom Stoppard's ever fresh Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (a re-purchase, my previous copy was borrowed and never returned) and the riotously funny Hot Fuzz.
I find myself to be a reluctant slacker--having ownership of an extremely busy life (not always with glee) leisure time is somewhat wanting, and reading time is sporadic...sadly...
The Wishing Year by Noelle Oxenhandler (my currently reading)--soul inspiring thus far.
A dual Maeve Binchy purchase of Firefly Summer and Tara Road.
Last but not least, When You Are Engulfed In Flames by David Sedaris.
The true pioneer of the 'High Fantasy' genre was Eric Rucker Eddison with his The Worm Ouroboros; a book that pre-dates Tolkien's Lord of the Rings by some 32 years...it even makes mention of 'Middle-earth'.
The Hobbit, LOTR, The Silmarillion, I loved reading them all, and have reread them...
I go for an hour walk on a daily basis, yoga and swimming once a week, and also try to stay active in the garden.
And if elbow bending with coffee counts, then count me as an exercise addict. ;p

The Aubrey/Maturin Series (of Master and Commander fame) by Patrick O'Brian are a wonderful set of stories/books. They first came to my notice when in desperation of something to read I plundered my father's book stash.

My Left Foot (autobiography) by Christy Brown - One of my sons has Cerebral Palsy and I thought it would give me some more insight into what it is like to have your mind live inside a body that is so physically restricted--as it was for Christy Brown.
I'm 40, turning 41 in a few short months. I've enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember, and have encouraged my 3 children to plumb the depths of their imagination, open their minds, educate, through reading all manner of literature.
