Yes, and I really loved how when the public discovered her, they (on the most part) really embraced her for her uniqueness; instead of shunning her which is what usually occurs in similar movies.
Oh wow, I've been absolutely obsessed with Elizabeth I for years! Here I thought I was all alone. ^_^ I'll prolly just sound like a schoolkid bragging, but my ancesters were actually kinda close to her; back in the day. Sir Thomas Egerton was a member of her council.
Hmm that sounds interesting. I'll deffinetly have to pick up a copy, although I doubt that I'll splurge on the collector's edition. Prolly not worth it anyways...:P
Well just in my personal opinion, I think that it detracts from the solid well written fantasy out there. Another meaningless book to vie for attention with the increasingly shallow population. I mean, I really believe that it had potential; but slowly and surely it evolved into just another...
In my opinion so many adults read them,enjoy them/hate them; but seem to miss the whole point. They're meant to be depressing/annoying/ridiculous, the series is ultimate satire. Picking fun at humanity, in a refreshingly sarcastic way.^_^ It purposely exposed the faults in society. I mean think...
