Teaching Christianity in the Public Schools...

What separation of church and state? Is that in the Constitution? Could you tell me where? Also, could you tell me where education funded by federal tax dollars is found in the Constitution?

Teaching Christianity in the Public Schools...

I don't know what a "liberal" education. I never coined the term. You tell ME what it is. I also don't know what a "non-liberal" education is. I also never used that term. All I stated was that I don't know any of any schools that teach Creationism as a science. If you would like to tell me...

Teaching Christianity in the Public Schools...

I must admit that I am an American and have never met or seen any such teachers, either. I'm assuming that they generally teach at Christian private schools. Luckily, you can choose whether you send your child to one of these. I also agree with you about Dawkins.

Who is your favourite author, and why?

Favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, John Crowley, Stephen R. Donaldson, and Patricia McKillip. My newest favorite author is Gene Wolfe. Only just started his works, but I am completely hooked. So many layers and twists. This is my type of writing.

What do you hate most about writing?

I am sure there are many reasons why a person may not want to say something. Some, like me, may not want celebrity. I want people to read and connect with what I have to say, but I do not want anyone to know who I am. I am not comfortable around most people. I enjoy my solitude. That is what...

What is your favorite Prince song

Do I have to have a favorite? I could tell you which one I dislike the least. ;)

I've been accused of plagiarism. Justified or not?

It's not plagiarism, but it's not exactly creative, either. Now, wouldn't you rather be more creative? :whistling:

    Book involving alien encounter/civilization?

I have to agree with you. I also found the characters to be one-dimensional and the main character's reactions to events baffling. There is an older book about a Jesuit priest and an alien encounter written by James Blish, called A Case of Conscience, which I have heard was better. I haven't...

    Would you rather?

Easy choice. The second one. It's what I think and do that matters, not what everyone else thinks.

The first sentence in the book you're reading

A great city is nothing more than a portrait of itself, and yet when all is said and done, its arsenal of scenes and images are part of a deeply moving plan. Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin
