I wish I had missed them, I trawled through the Fellowship out of obligation - now I say I haven't read it so I don't have to have a very boring conversation with some people!
I re-read Catch 22 as soon as I'd finished it - partly because I thought I'd missed a lot in the first go, and partly because I loved it...I'd be quite happy to read it again if I didn't have a pile of books on my to-read list!
Me neither, though I think there will be enough competition within e-readers to mean they develop like mp3 players...only you can fit a lot more books than mp3s on!
I actually think reading fairly advanced writing for children as my parents did when I was younger - I learnt a lot of new words from adult novels and it actually improved my reading to read alongside my mum or dad. One that sprang to mind was the Prisoner of Zelda, and also a bit of poetry -...
Yeh I do - I actually find its the best time for me to read! I blank all the distractions out and enjoy the journey as opposed to hating it! I also resist and maintain a reading space when the tube is packed! Mwahahahaa....
