    Not only is there a second chronicles, he has written the first book of the third chronicles already. I just came out last month and im almost done with it. Just as good as I've already come to expect from Donaldson. So once you guys zip through the second chronicles be sure to pick it up.

    You read the extended version that filled in holes for the sequel. The first release did not have the speaker of the dead part.

    Um, if its vampire books your looking for try Vampire$ by John Steakley, it really gave me a new outlook on vampires.

    Well I went to Barnes & Noble and Borders, niether place had David Gerrolds War of the Chtorr. Apparantly there out of print, and I hate buying things off the internet. Can't seem to make a decision on any other books.

    I have read All 6 books of the Covenan series and like them all. The rape scene did catch me off gaurd and i kept thinking, "what are you doing". This is probly why many people dont like Donaldsons work, his characters are very flawed. They dont play the "Hero". But this intrigued me to read...

    favorite fantasy author

    Put up another point for Orson Scott Card on his Enders/Bean series. I could read his work all day. Also Stephen Donaldson Thomas Covenant series.

    Recently I've read alot of 6-7 book series. I really dont seem to have a problem as long as the books are good. Whats even more annoying is reading a masterpiece then finding out that the author only wront 1 other novel which wasnt a sequel....John Steakley anyone.
