    Stephen Baxter: Time

    I enjoyed both Time and Space. Baxter isn't one of those who makes up some future tech concept and leaves it unexplained, and I agree it can sometimes be a bit much. I didn't enjoy the 3rd book in the Manifold series though (Origin). There is only so much 'caveman bodily functions' I can take.
