I read Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything and loved it. The man can take drealy, dull facts about science and liven them up to the point I was laughing out loud and still retain the information. Great book.

I totally agree. I had high hopes for Harry and Murphy and was shocked when she went to hawaii with Kincaid. Isn't Kincaid the exact opposite of who you would think Murph would go for? Hopefully she comes to her senses in further books. I mean, her and Harry fight enough to be married anyways! :D

I think I would like to live in Icewind Dale. It would be beyond exciting to meet Drizzt and there is always something going on!

I haven't read the new series, but I absolutely love the Dresden Files. I've read all of them and they are hilarious and action packed. Hopefully, the series goes on for many more years.

I am a great fan of Feist's work , magician being my favorite, and I agree with most of the comments saying it was more plot based. The characters could really have been nameless warriors, magicians, and priests, and the story still would've worked. Now don't get me wrong, I lvoe the characters...

American Gods I have to say, after reading Good Omens and and Neverwhere I was really looking forward to reading American Gods, and it didn't disappoint. However it was definately a twisted path away from the previously named books. It was dark and mysterious with the funny edge that I love...

Books with those kinds of scenes will keep me up nights as well. I will read it over and over, picturing it in my mind. Those scenes are what make reading worth it.

Ok, the terms might be common, but Feist uses them to their maximum potential and makes a battle scene that you feel like you have a sword in your hand and are just waiting for orders! :)

Here is a list of Robert Jordan's books. Like I said before, I haven't read the Wheel of Time series, but upon cleaning my room, I found a copy of the Wheel of Time computer game. Has anyone played it? If so, someone let me know if it is worth installing or should I just get rid of it.
