What are some science-fiction series that you started reading, but could never finish because the latter books in the series were not as good as the first one? :confused:

It's a combination of all. You can find historically verified events in it, and you can also find poetic elements as well (the Psalms, the Proverbs, the parables told by Jesus etc.). It's a religious text that encompasses a wide variety of literary styles.

I didn't really think it was that much of an emotional roller coaster. I thought it was a pretty good series, but it could have been a lot better had the idea been taken into another direction. The third book in the series seemed the most boring one, in my opinion. Did you enjoy the series?

Personally, I find it a bit too distracting to listen to music when I write. The only thing I want to listen to when I write is the sound of my keyboard.
