No, I didn't mistype anything, and I just prefer Garth Nix to Phillip Pullman. I was merely expressing my opinion, and you could do the same without making me sound like a fool.
Well, I got about halfway through Inkheart, but there were about five times that I thought it was almost over... it just goes on so many tangents... so I didn't finish it, and I have yet to read The Thief Lord. But what I did read of Inkheart was enjoyable...
I read these books, they were really good, almost as good as some of Garth Nix's stuff... almost...
I'm trying to get my friends to read His Dark Materials, but they just won't listen to me. They don't know what they're missing
The Amber Spyglass was the best one in my opinion.
I constantly suffer from the first variation of series sickness... especially with Garth Nix's Keys to the Kingdom series... I'll go absolutely crazy if Drowned Wednesday doesn't hit bookstores soon!! *pulls out hair*
Calvin and Hobbes was really great, I miss it too :(
As of now I only have "Calvin & Hobbes" and "Yukon Ho!", but my friend lets me read hers, and she has every collection!
Get Fuzzy is hilarious. If Calvin and Hobbes had to go, Get Fuzzy is a nice substitute ^_^
My five favorites, in no particular order...
-The Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix
-Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
-His Dark Materials Trilogy by Phillip Pullman
-Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix
-Animorphs by K.A. Applegate
I know, technically that's more than five books... but...
