    What's the WORST book you ever read?

    Death of Artemio Cruz by Carlos Fuentes. We had to read it in school and though I can see relevance to society and there seems like there are deeper meanings in there somewhere, that was the only book I can ever remember really having to force myself to read.

    Has anyone read any of Dan Brown's other books? I don't know if I was just familiar with his style by the time I read deception point and digital fortress, but I thought they were a very far cry from angels and demons and the davinci code.

    I am a big fan of Ursula Leguin, and recently a friend told me that she has written a short story about a driver crashing a car into a tree, which is written from the perspective of the tree. This story was reccommended to me with vague references that it was by Leguin, but I haven't been able...
