    Preston & Child

I dislike Pendegast, he is very unreal. The discriptions of him like being able to take many bullets without pain is plain stupid. Also, in Cabinet of Curositys, he goes back to the olden times in his mind and is able to find out where was the killer`s hiding place! That was plain stupid.

Do you judge a book by its cover?

Does the cover of the book decides whether you buy the book or not? I have decided to buy a few books because of the intruiging covers. I like those Richard Laymon artwork covers, which convinced me to get one of his books. What about you?

    Richard Laymon

I started with The Cellar. It was enjoyable and unexpected. However, some of his books are way too silly. Kill...kill...rape. A fine example of that is in Ressurection Dreams.

    Mo Heyder

I prefer Mo Hayder to Jeffrey Deaver. Jeffrey Deaver makes his character(Lincoln Rhyme) so smart and almost to the point of invuneralibity that its sometimes too silly.
