Wow, I haven't read any of these posts so far because I have to leave in a minute, but in a reply to the first post, I LOVE READING!! Yes, i'm a guy. I've been reading probably since my mom used to read me the Hardy Boys back in like preschool, and have been hooked ever since.

I've only read The Redwall series, which is descent but there are a bunch of them and the story line tends to repeat itself a bunch, just read some of them I'd say. From what i remember The Long Patrol was good, as was Salamandastron.

Oh my gosh, I'm reading One Flew Over the Cukoo's nest right now, I'm about a quarter of the way through it and it's great so far.

The Rule of Four I don't remember the author but there are two of them and one of there names are Ian (my name).

I think that's my longest too. (The Stand I mean.)

I personally thought The Rule of Four was better than the Da Vinci Code, so you might try that.

The Davinci Code It was alright, by no means the best book ever, but i liked the information in the story more than the story itself if you understand what i mean there...

I love the whole Sabriel/Lirael/Abhorsen trilogy, it was really something!

I just finished reading The Dark Tower, by Stephen King...Yay I'm done w/ the series, and what a good series it was.

there was this one collection of short stories i read that had a story called Flowers for Algernon...it had some of my fave short stories in it. Anyone no what i am talking about?

I finish a bad book, b/c even toward the end, even the last few pages, I like to hope it will turn out good...

I like 3rd...first gets a little old. I especially like Omniscient (s/p?); tells you the thoughts of many of the characters instead of just one...

I am pretty sure that people kill other people w/ a variety of other methods. If you are trying to say that guns are bad, is rope bad b/c people strangle other people, are hands bad because they can be used to make fists?

I am know there is something from To Kill a Mockingbird that I really liked, I just don't remember what...

I always want to...but I never end up doing it!

If it's books in a series, I will buy them, and if they are stand alone books, most of the time I will just go to the library. Basically, If i start a book from a series that I really like, I will go ahead and buy the rest of the books in that series, but I borrow the first one.
