Surprised nobody's mentioned 'Lonesome Traveller' yet. Anyone that hasn't read it should check it out.
'Even Cowgirls Get the Blues' always struck a Kerouac-esque nerve with me. An oft underrated book in my opinion that has the ability to stagger you with its occasional brilliance.
No distinction for me. Don't generally tend to abbreviate it (just call it all science fiction) but if I do then I guess I call it sci-fi.

Loved some of the new touches - the opening credits really got it off to an excellent and amusing start - and thought the casting was actually pretty good (at least, I didn't spend the whole film thinking "you're not the real people!" to myself)...
No, don't think so. Is it any good though - might check it out!!
