    I had to read his "Human Comedy" for class back in high school and was wondering if anyone else enjoys his books? I feel like he goes under appreciated.. :(

    Are HM's books similar in style/plot? I've only read one book of his... Yeah I do wonder if it's a japanese things in the unique writing styles.. my fav is Banana Yoshimoto tho!

    Who is your favourite author, and why?

    Roald Dahl is definitely a classic author. I also love William Saroyan, who seems to be less known but still reads as classic for me. :)

    Yann Martel: Life of Pi

    i think the majority of the people are aware of the religious implications of the book but are divided between those who have been touched and untouched by his writing. i was able to appreciate his work but found the book slow and lengthy. luckily i gave his other book a try and enjoyed it...
