currently reading laurence bergreen, over the edge of the world and stephen ambrose, undaunted courage. bergreen is a good writer,however, over the edge of the world reads a little like "pop" history. sorta like reading about the first circumnavigation of the world in the national inquierer...

pleased to be part of the discussion. i joined last week but only now have had a chance to post. just finished a great book, " a fish out of water" by Helen Palmer illustrated by P.D. Eastman. my son loves it. :) have been an avid reader all my life, unfortunatley, i am a poor speller...
