I'd rather be the latter. I'm writing a story right now.. but if I were to ever become famous from it.. I would never drop my dream job of veterinary medicine. I'd quit writing before I did that.

There is a book called Frisk... But I think it has to do with romance more than horror. The author has the first name Dennis.. cant remember the last name...

I've never read this book.. but I will now. I remember hearing about this book in 8th grade because it was banned from my school. Students caught reading it were given detention and spankings. It apparently had something in it that they didnt want a bunch of spoiled suburban kids reading.

Was there a lot of hype about it? I've never heard about it until I came on this site. Is it worth picking up in spare time? As soon as I finish Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince I'm going to need something for dessert. :D

I think I like Order of the Phoenix best.. I dont know why. I guess I just got a lot more into it.

I think if parents think their child is old enough to go into a movie theater or bookstore and pick out what they want to read..and the parent doesnt think it necessary to make sure the material is suitable... then they're giving the child permission to watch/read whatever they want.

I dont have shame from buying secondhand books. If you want a good deal.. buy from the users on Amazon. But...I cant buy things from secondhand shops here in Memphis. Memphis is full of slums and jerks who try to cheat you. I bought a second hand book one time and they said the only thing...

I dont hate Borders.. but I much rather going to Barnes and Noble. Their customer service is excellent and it's easy to find things there. The only things I like better about Borders than I do Barnes and Noble is the fact that Borders (at least the one by me) has a very large cafe area and you...

I think Native Son by Richard Wright. It's a magnificant book about prejudice in the early 1900s.. and it's not doing the stupid race card crap saying "Grr..white people are bad" It's a really interesting view into things back then.

I love Mitch Albom. His books are just..incrediably. I usually like longer stories/novels... but I couldnt put his down after I picked it up...and I almost wanted to because I knew it would end.

I'd have to say mine would be mushrooms. Because I'd never eat them otherwise.
