    Frank Herbert: Dune

    Dune ... what can I say. Excellent! After reading it I understood what the power of a single person weilding religon as an Axe can be. We have "real" prophetes today who weild similar power over there people. "Jihad" is very much a reality. It is an experiance.

    Anyone feel the same way? (Film and Book related)

    Silmarralion is not a page turner. It is a bunch of notes that Tolkien created to justify how the events in Middle-Earth came to be. They were later realesed by his son after his death. Its just the notes thrown together and annotated by his son. It is written in the foreword that JRR would not...

    J.R.R. Tolkien: The Silmarillion

    The Silmarillion is a heavy reading. I recommend it only for Tolkien enthusiates. The number of Elven names are mind blowing.. I had a hard time keeping track of each. But end word.... Great read!
