    Do you remember...?

    We bought my father-in-law the first season of "Alf" on DVD last Christmas. He is Alf, except for the alien and cat-eating part. He looks kinda like him anyway. But don't tell him I said that. ;)

    Short Chapter Books?

    I also like books with short chapters. I'm currently reading "Life of Pi" which has exactly 100 chapters divided over 401 pages. Another author who uses lots of breaks within chapters is Nora Roberts, if you like that kind of stuff.

    When your reading time is interrupted-what do you do?

    My main reading times are my lunch break at work and before bedtime. I need to set aside a few other special times to read because my usual times are not great choices. I work in a cubicle which is about 4 feet away from a very loud, uncouth woman, and she talks (read: yells) from 7:30-4:30...

    I completely agree. I'm a "cuddle" reader, and I like to get all comfy when I'm reading. Speaking of which - my bed and book are calling my name right now...

    How do you feel when....

    I also get excited when I get near the end of a book. If it's been a really special journey, I will definitely be sad when I turn that last page. However, I adore the anticipation that comes with picking out my next read.

    Currently Reading

    Just started "Life of Pi" yesterday and could hardly put it down. I'm looking forward to reading more of it tonight.
