    Suggest just one book to read.

    Ive yet to read Dirty White Boys written by Stephen Hunter, but it has been highly recommended by a few of my friends. I plan on diving into it after I finish Angels and Demons.

    What's the best opening line of a book (fiction or non)?

    Not exactly opening quote...but John Grisham's The Testament has a great opening chapter. It'll get you hooked as soon as you start reading it.

    Im from around the Stuttgart area, the Duck and Rice capital of the world. I actually spend a lot of time in Jonesboro, have a lot of friends and buddies up there. Nice city.. Go Arkansas State.

    Just what I was looking for. A friend loaned me Desperation and The Regulators and said it was King's best books. Cant wait to read them. I personally was wondering about It. I figured I would like it, so thanks on the heads up.

    Why do you read fiction?

    The best way I can describe it is being the difference between watching a documentary or a movie. Real life tends to get boring, that's where fiction plays a role.

    Ernest Hemingway

    I read Old Man And The Sea, and I am not impressed by Hemmingway. I know his writing style is rather simple, but It doesn't appeal to me in the least way.
