Hi. Late reply. Lol. I never finished reading the book. What I have personally noticed is that when I eat sugary foods I feel a change in energy. First it increases then decreases. Compare that with not sugary foods. The change in energy is less. For example, eating a chocolate bar vs. an avocado.
Hi Everyone,
I've just begun reading this book. From what I have read it is an analysis of the American Food Industry and its use of salt, sugar, and fat in the processed foods it produces. The book also looks at the effect these three things have on obesity, heart disease, and other maladies...
I have based my thread post on the other posts in this section of the forum. Generally, they seem to include the author or a friend posting on the author's behalf. They also give some reason to purchase the book and a summary of what is in the book. Also provided are links where you can purchase...
Hi all,
A friend of mine has recently published a Vegetarian Indian Cookbook. It is her first publication. I have eaten many of the dishes in this cookbook and I must say that they are very tasty!
Example recipes include:
Onion Pakoda (Fritter)
Vegetable fried Rice
Vegetarian Sambar (Curry)...
I have a Kobo Touch eReader which I have been using for the past 3 years. I prefer the eReaders to tablets because the E Ink touch screen is easier on my eyes than the tablet displays with their harsher backlighting.
I've only ever read one E-book [The Supernaturalist].
E-books hurt my eyes because of the screen, but I don't dislike them.
I still prefer physical books though.
My list of unread books:
-Stormcaller Tom Lloyd
-A Dirty Job Christopher Moore
-The Book Thief Markus Zusak
-Eragon Christopher Paolini
-The Sea of Trolls Nancy Farmer
-A Simple Plan Scott Smith
-Corrupts Absolutely Alexa Hunt
-Odd Thomas Dean Koontz
-Dragon Tears Dean Koontz...

I recently purchased a book called 'Gideon the Cutpurse' I was reccomended this book by a friend and I haven't started reading it yet. Has anyone else heard of this book? The author of the book is Linda Buckley-Archer.
I cannot wait to see this movie. I have not read it myself but have heard good things about the book from my friend. The movie sounds good to me. I hope to read the book soon as well.
