    Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Shadow of the Wind was a very good book, but I haven't read anything else by the author.

    Review: Casino Royale

I saw the film, it's so good. Definitely the best Bond movie I've seen (well I only saw about 5 so..) :p I also find myself listening a lot to Chris Cornell's 'You Know My Name', which the theme song for the movie. Also really good...

Who here speaks more than one language?

I speak English, Hebrew, Spanish and Russian. But so far I can only read in English and Hebrew ;) I think it's really important to know more than one language, it opens you up to so many different things....

Song Titles that go on Forever

Haha, they are mostly punk-pop bands... I must agree, it's a weird trend, but I don't really have anything against it. There are worse things in life :) And a confession: I really like Panic! at the disco ! MCR are OK and arctic monkeys are very good and fresh - check them out, not emo at...

    Lee Child

Wow, I totally forgot about him... I was going through the authors forum when I saw your topic on Lee Child, and I remembered the name sounded quite familiar to me. I remember reading a book by him about a year ago and really enjoying it - thanks to your link I found out it was 'Tripwire'. I...

    Ayn Rand

I've only read one book by her, 'The Fountainhead'. To be honest, I took it from the library quite at random (I think the librarian recommended it, but I did not delve into the plot too much), not having heard of Ayn Rand beforehand. I remember the book left quite a mark on me, and I...

    Bookcovers

If a book has a good cover it often tips the scale in it's favour. I can't think of a specific example, but for me it's usually a minimalistic design that manages to grab your attention somehow. But I usually go by recommendations too, or at least read the synopsis.. :)

What books have you read more than once?

I think I still haven't re-read a book , probably because I'm still pretty young so I remember them well :p (having read them pretty recently)

    your to-read list

Oh, I have so many books waiting for me to read them! My to-read list currently consists of about 20 (but keeps growing) and the number of piled-up books which I plan to read next stands at about 6. I have to have lists, it makes things so much simpler. Otherwise when I come to the library...

    Favorite Quotes

I marked a really nice quote in the book I'm currently reading, that is Paul Auster's Moon Palace. Reality is like a yo-yo, change is the only constant

How Many Books Do You Read in a Year (approx.)?

I'm keeping a list on my computer (also helps me to figure out what i'll be reading next) and I think I read about 12 this year... (most of them in the last few months). I'd rather read 10 great books than 100 average books, though :-)
