    Orson Scott Card: Ender's Game

    The Ender and Shadow Series' are my favorite books. However, I favor the Shadow Series (which follows the lives of Ender's Jeesh, and Ender's Family after Ender's Game) as I found it more humorous and less theologically/ethically oriented then the Ender Series.

    Celtic Woman

    I LOVE Celtic Woman! It all started when I saw their first concert on PBS a couple years ago. I thought it was just amazing. Then I bought their first CD. Shortly thereafter they came in concert and it was one of the best shows I've seen. Last summer (before their second concert began airing)...

    What are you paying for gas?

    $3.16 for gas with 85 octane rating (that's regular unleaded in Colorado) is the absolute cheapest in the Denver Metro Area...i'm lucky enough that my car requires me to put 87 octane so I paid $3.40 per gallon yesterday....

    I've read the Ender and Shadow Series' more times that I can count as I find something new in them in every reading. However, I find the Ender series to be difficult to read and not indicative of most of Card's writing. The Women of Genesis series is highly worth reading. Also the Alvin...

    Who is your favorite fictional character and why?

    Peter Wiggin from the Ender Series by Orson Scott Card. I love Peter because you have the chance to see him evolve from an evil older brother who enjoys torturing squirrels into the universally loved leader of the world by the time he's 30. He's witty. You never really know what his motives are...
