I'm trying to find a couple nursery rhymes/fairy tale books I had when I was a kid, but I don't know the titles or authors. All I have are vague memories of the pictures and some parts of the stories.
I had these books new about 20 years ago. One was a story of Sleeping Beauty, but it had nursery rhymes throughout the book too. The other book was just nursery rhymes. Some of the rhymes included something about mermaids, a little girl that lost her shoe, and cats and dogs getting married. The illustrations were amazing and fairy-like.
Below on the right is a picture of the size and style of the book, but that particular book is not the one I'm looking for. I also posted the mermaid pic since it reminds me of one of the pictures in the book.
