I am looking for a book that I read when I was a child. It had a little girl as one of the main characters, and also a side character that was a small, furry, loving animal which I believe was called a "huggit". There was a scene in the book where the huggit crawls up the villain's leg and torso, onto his shoulder, and the villain flings the huggit across the room where it hits the wall and is badly hurt.
If anyone knows the name of this book or any way of finding out the name of this book, I would greatly appreciate it!
