Books about Rwanda

I want to know more about Rwanda and the basis for the conflict in the 90's. I know far less than I'd like, and the movie 'Hotel Rwanda' was eye opening for me. I'm unlikely to sit down with a nonfiction account, however. Does anyone have any recommendations for a narrative account of the unrest, particularly with some background to the Belgian colony that was partially responsible for the segregation in the first place? A readable biography would be good.

Shake hands with the devil: The failure of Humanity in Rwanda was written by Romeo Dallaire. It's a Non-Fiction book written by the head of the UN PeaceKeeping mission in Rwanda during the time the genocide. It's very desctriptive and somewhat dry but a good account of what happened during that time.
