I'm wondering if someone could suggest some novels with a theme similar to Black Robe? I.e., a fictional work in which the author brings you into the experience of North American indigenous people, as Brian Moore did with the Hurons. Having grown up in the time when American Indians were depicted as caricatures, I found Moore's portrayal of the Huron people's dealing with the European colonials, as well as with other tribes of Indians, quite intriguing.
