I really like reading young adult books like the hunger games and divergent because of the themes. They are usually dystopia, paranormal and magic. Lately I've been trying to find a good ya book and I'm really interested in the plot lines for some of the most popular ones out there like hex hall, throne of glass, daughter of smoke and bones and vampire academy. I'm very interested in the story but I don't like how they are executed they are written in a writing style to appeal to younger audiences. An example is hex hall, I very much loved the book's plot and story but I couldn't stand the teeny talk how the characters talked like 12 year olds. The problem is that I'm having a hard time finding books with themes found in popular ya books but with good writing style like the hunger games or harry potter. Can anyone help?
