I read a lot about how each decision he made slowly but inevitably, brought him closer to the dark side. The death of crazy 8 was something else-he fought his moral mind and knew the kid would come after his family and when he found out the kid had a shard of a missing plate....ooooooooh. I'm a bit tired tonight, might be lucky to get two episodes in.

Yeah, that's a great moment, one of the best from season 1.
I love the contrast of Walt's tragically easy transition to evil with Jesse's sloooowww crawl to redemption. Just wait 'till you get to season 2 and they introduce Gus Fring!
