Brian K. Vaughan, Tony Harris: Ex Machina

I found the 1st trade to be 'alright' but I guess it just didn't work quite so much with me. I think it's this - In the first trade of Ex Machina and the 1st trade of 'Y the Last Man,' Vaughn does go into the American political system (the republican v democrat thing) - as someone from outside the US, I guess this aspect just doesn't appeal to me.

Have read though the first hardcover for runaways and found it very readable with a good angle on a very repetitive genre. It's by no means a classic (I generally prefer something deeper - this is a candyflossy read), but it features a pet psychic dinosaur - now that's just frickin' cool  Recommended for those who like Joss Whedon's work in general (Buffy, Angel, Fray etc).
