One of my mother's friends is in the publishing business, so I occasionally get advance copies of books.
I am currently reading Dead on my Feet by Wm. Mark Simmons.It will be available in June from Baen . It is absolutely hilarious...in it the lead character is distantly related to Erzsebet Bathory and Prince Vlad Drakul Bassarab. Vampires, ghosts,half deads, and walking dead, need I say more about its homour quotient? It does carry enough well researched detial to make it a worthwhile and fun read.
