Let me present my proposed cover for my new thriller novel – “The True Virus”. Will this work as a cover for a fiction novel? Also, does it convey the synopsis below?
Note: Check this site for cover: Updated cover for "The True Virus" | Green Power
Synopsis.
After the main CIA computer is hacked into, John Brookfield a CIA computer specialist, travels to Israel to work with Sarah Stein the Co-developer of DNA computer technology to find out if the DNA component of the CIA system has been compromised. John is shocked when the cell phone of a fellow CIA agent in Israel is hit by a bullet and explodes in his hand. Soon after an epidemic breaks out and the agent dies. With Sarah’s help, John discovers that a Hamas bioterrorist is the hacker who programmed the CIA’s system to produce the real live virus that caused the epidemic.

Looking at the link for the updated cover, I'd leave the flags off, they're distracting.

1. Get a better quality graphic of the DNA - artifacts in the image from low resolution are not good.

2. Change the font - the fonts should complement each other not fight with each other.
Make your name smaller than the title.

3. Change the colour of 'A Thriller Novel' to white - see above about complementing not fighting.

4. Remove the flags.

5. Remove the biohazard symbols or incorporate them in a more balanced / symmetrical way. If you do incorporate them, remove the band of different coloured blue.

If I might be so bold as to offer an suggestion to illustrate what I mean:

PS If I have managed not to offend, you are more than welcome to use it - Provided you like it of course. I can send the full size image if you like.

Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing as Meadow, drop the flags and maybe just do one biohazard symbol centered against the helixes. I like the font for your name better than the title font, but it would be best to use one font consistently regardless.
The synopsis has me interested; good luck! :)
