I recently bought this Douglas Clegg horror book at used bookstore and it is really good. There are 2 stories in book. One is called The Attraction which is sort of like the devil-doll story in movie Trilogy of Terror or dean Koontz novel Tick-Tock. This is story of college kids who run out of gas in desert near gas station which has an exhibit of mummified Aztec who was flesh-scraper, which is supposed to be guy who skinnedd dead human sacrifices in aztec days. The thing comes alive and starts doing this stuff to these college kids. The ting is named Scratch by gas station guy and is very scary and vicious thing. Ridiculous story of course but exciting and has very good ending.
Other story is one of series about guy who is very evil and becomes kind of expert in all kinds of depraved and occult stuff. Very well written I thought , and also has a great deal of sex which is very graphic so if you do not like this kind of stuff do not buy this book.
