This bok which is written by two people named Altieri and Cooney is historical novel and murder mystery. it is based on true characters in 7th century China nd I especially like reading of all the backstabbing plots and conspiracies the Chinese are always involved in. The main character, a magistrate who also really lived, is however a good and honest judge and also a very slick investigator. I recommend this highly to anyone, even if they are not generally interested in Chinese history or murder mysteries.
