Free 5 Gig of space at Amazon.com

I recently read about this in the news.

Amazon (AMZN) Ambushes its Competitors with an Assault in the Cloud

Amazon, trying to compete against Google, Microsoft, and Apple for offering free (and fee based) space in the web.

I know I can put up to 1 GB of pictures in Google Picasa. With this 5 Gig of free space, I can store more pics or mp3 off my hard drive, access and listen with other devices, including mobile.

No thanks. I don't trust Amazon to keep my data.

If I used their service for streaming my MP3s, my phone provider would throttle back my connection speed in a week.
