Lately I was thinking about a book I once read and for the life of me I can't remember the name of it and it's really irritating me 
I was hoping that someone might know it if I told a little of what I remember about it.
The book was a science fiction book club featured book sometime in the late 80's I believe.. although I'm certain it came from the club. It's possible it was a trilogy in a single volume. It's main character they call the son of the sun. He's supposed to be the son of the sun god and has a gold sun in the palm of his hand. Other than that I don't really remember too many details about the book. it's been 15 years with thousands of books between. If someone does recognize it I'd be extremely gratefull for the name.
