I doubt anyone can help cos my minds so hazy but here goes anyway.
I read a book when I was about 16. Its started off with like 2 single parent families who were alcoholics. The children of these parents then got together and started a relationship. They had a very bad upbringing, lots of violence etc and I'm sure the girl character was a prostitute. When they were a bit older they moved to America where the male becomes involved in the IRA and murders, robberies etc. They split up then meet up again further along the line and I'm sure one of them murders the other. As I say I know I dont give away much info, and can't even remember the author. Been all over the internet looking for clues but no luck!! Anyway, someone please put me out of my misery!! Lol.
